Brief Description

You will provide direction and supervision to the Associate Curator of Special Projects.  You will be the museum’s expert on modern and contemporary art of the Inland Northwest, particularly modern and contemporary Indigenous art of the Inland Northwest, working as an independent contributor who collaborates with internal colleagues from the MAC (including staff, docents, volunteers, and interns) and external parties such as peer institutions, academic experts, and community members. You will also serve as a steward of artists, donors, collectors, and galleries, establishing and caring for such relationships while respecting the needs of the MAC and its staff.
