The Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture (MAC), this region’s historical society, has launched an extensive new website that spotlights their collections, exhibits, and programs. Their website is one of the ways the MAC has been connecting its audiences to the history, native cultures and art of the Inland Northwest for almost 100 years.
Executive Director, Forrest Rodgers, states “we are now looking ahead to our centennial in 2016, and to re-envision the MAC as an essential cultural and community resource for Eastern Washington, northern Idaho and Montana. As a learning institution, we strive to be a valued resource for schools and scholars and our website is an important instrument.”
The MAC worked very closely with Spokane’s North by Northwest Productions and Project Lead Benji Wade to accomplish their primary goal of serving the Inland Northwest community with timely content and broad information about the MAC. Inspiration for the new site was informed by an assessment of leading institutions and utilizes technology that allows users optimized access from any device or display: desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
The MAC is now open Sundays!
